Required Information
All products synching with Saddle Point's WMS are required to have the following information:
- Name: Each product must be given a unique name identifier.
- Price: Product sale price is required for all items.
- SKU: All products require a unique SKU identifier. Read more about SKUs here.
- Barcode: All products must have a unique barcode. This does not need to be a GS1 barcode but it must be translatable to Code 128 barcode format. Read more about barcodes here.
- Weight: This is for calculating correct shipping charges in your store. If this field is not set, saddle point can perform first item inspection for your goods upon arrival to our warehouse and set this value correctly.
- HS code: Without accurate HS codes Saddle Point may be forced to charge additional document prep fees for exporting of international shipments. It's best practice to lookup the correct code and keep this field up to date for all items.
- Country Of Origin: As with HS Codes, country of origin information is crucial to ensure speedy export of your goods and avoid any additional fees.
